User Agreement & Terms of Use
Effective Date: August 27, 2026
Welcome to The Clinician Network platform. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should not use the Platform.
1. Purpose of the Platform
The Clinician Network is an online directory and networking platform designed to connect licensed clinical supervisors with pre-licensed clinicians seeking supervision and to provide professional networking, employment, advertising, and related resources.
The Clinician Network does not provide clinical supervision, employ supervisors, supervise clinicians, endorse supervisors or employers, or guarantee the quality of supervision, employment opportunities, products, services, or other offerings provided or advertised through the Platform.
All supervision, employment, and other professional relationships are formed independently between the participating parties.
2. Supervisor Listings
Supervisors are solely responsible for the information provided on their profiles. By submitting a profile, supervisors represent that all information is accurate, truthful, complete, and current, including:
Professional license information
Credentials and certifications
Areas of specialty
State(s) of licensure
Supervision format and fees
Availability
Contact information
Supervisors must promptly update their profiles when information changes. False or misleading information may result in removal without notice.
3. Permission to Advertise Supervisor Information
By creating a supervisor profile, you grant The Clinician Network permission to display, promote, advertise, distribute, and market information voluntarily provided for public display. This may include website listings, search results, email newsletters, social media, promotional materials, digital advertising, marketing campaigns, and featured supervisor spotlights.
If you do not wish your profile information to be used for marketing or promotional purposes, you should not create a profile. You may remove your profile by deleting your account or requesting removal.
4. Independent Professionals
All supervisors listed on the Platform are independent professionals. The Clinician Network does not:
Employ or supervise supervisors;
Evaluate the quality of supervision;
Guarantee licensure, competence, ethical conduct, or availability; or
Guarantee supervision outcomes.
Each supervisor operates independently and is solely responsible for the services provided.
5. Group Practice Accounts
Group Practice accounts are intended for organizations, practices, or other entities managing or listing multiple clinical supervisors.
The administrator or authorized representative is solely responsible for verifying the credentials, licensure, eligibility, and accuracy of information for each listed supervisor, including verifying that each:
Holds a current professional license in the applicable state(s);
Meets applicable professional and licensing requirements;
Has completed required supervision training or qualifications;
Meets state-specific requirements for approved clinical supervisors;
Is eligible to supervise the applicable license type or profession; and
Has fulfilled requirements necessary for supervisees to receive hours that may be accepted toward licensure or credentialing.
Administrators must promptly update or remove listings when a supervisor's license, credentials, eligibility, availability, or authorization changes.
The Clinician Network does not independently verify supervisor credentials, licensure, qualifications, or state-specific eligibility and does not determine whether supervision satisfies a licensing board's requirements.
Because requirements vary by state, profession, license type, and licensing board, Group Practice administrators are responsible for independently determining and verifying applicable requirements.
By creating or maintaining a Group Practice account, the administrator represents that they have authority to list the associated supervisors and accepts responsibility for the accuracy and compliance of submitted information.
6. Job Board
The Clinician Network may provide a Job Board allowing practices, organizations, employers, supervisors, and other authorized users to post employment, contract, internship, practicum, or other professional opportunities.
The Job Board is a networking and advertising resource only. The Clinician Network is not an employer, staffing agency, recruiter, placement agency, employment agency, or representative of any employer or applicant.
Employer and Job Poster Responsibility
Job posters are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, and timeliness of their postings and must ensure they:
Accurately describe the position, qualifications, compensation, location, schedule, employment status, and material terms;
Are not false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive;
Comply with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, equal employment opportunity, wage and hour, licensing, and professional requirements;
Do not request information applicants are legally prohibited from providing;
Are appropriate for the intended professional population; and
Are promptly updated or removed when no longer available or when material information changes.
The Clinician Network does not independently verify employers, job opportunities, employment terms, compensation, licensing requirements, workplace conditions, or other information in job postings.
Applicant Responsibility
Applicants are responsible for determining whether an opportunity is appropriate for their qualifications, career goals, licensing status, and circumstances and should independently verify:
The employer's identity and legitimacy;
Job duties and expectations;
Compensation and benefits;
Employment or contract terms;
Required credentials or licensure;
Work location and schedule;
Workplace policies and conditions; and
Other information relevant to accepting the opportunity.
The Clinician Network does not guarantee that any job posting is legitimate, accurate, available, or appropriate for a particular applicant.
No Employment Guarantee
The Clinician Network does not guarantee that:
A posting will remain available;
An applicant will receive a response, interview, or offer;
An employer will fill a position;
Posting information is accurate or complete;
A position will provide the compensation, hours, benefits, or conditions described;
Employers or applicants will act professionally or ethically; or
Any resulting professional relationship will be successful.
Any employment, contract, internship, practicum, or other relationship resulting from the Job Board is established directly between the parties. The Clinician Network is not a party to that relationship.
Job Posting Review and Removal
The Clinician Network may, but is not obligated to, review, edit, restrict, reject, suspend, or remove job postings or accounts that may violate these Terms, applicable law, Platform policies, or the integrity or purpose of the Job Board.
The Clinician Network is not obligated to monitor every posting, employer, applicant, communication, or transaction and may remove a posting at any time for any reason, including inaccurate information, complaints, suspected fraud, inappropriate content, expiration, or violation of these Terms.
Communications and Applications
The Clinician Network may provide communication tools or direct users to external websites, email addresses, application systems, or other third-party services.
The Clinician Network is not responsible for communications between applicants and employers or the security, privacy, availability, or practices of third-party services.
Users should exercise appropriate caution when communicating with individuals or organizations encountered through the Job Board and avoid sharing sensitive personal information unless necessary and appropriate.
No Endorsement
The appearance of an employer, organization, position, or opportunity on the Job Board does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification, approval, or guarantee by The Clinician Network. Featured, promoted, sponsored, or prioritized postings are not recommendations or verification.
Paid Job Board Placement
The Clinician Network may offer paid advertising, featured placement, priority placement, or other promotional opportunities for job postings.
Payment does not constitute endorsement or verification and is intended only to increase visibility. Unless otherwise stated, advertising fees are governed by the terms presented at purchase.
No Employment Relationship With The Clinician Network
Use of the Job Board does not create an employment, staffing, recruiting, agency, partnership, joint venture, or other professional relationship between The Clinician Network and any employer, applicant, supervisor, practice, organization, or Job Board user.
7. Clinician Responsibility
Clinicians are solely responsible for determining whether a supervisor is appropriate for their professional needs.
Before entering a supervision relationship, clinicians should independently verify:
Current professional license and status;
Disciplinary history;
Board approval requirements;
State-specific supervision eligibility;
Experience and credentials;
Insurance requirements; and
Other qualifications required by their licensing board.
The Clinician Network does not verify every credential submitted by supervisors or represent that a supervisor satisfies any particular licensing board's requirements. Requirements vary by state and profession.
8. No Endorsement
A supervisor's appearance on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification, approval, or guarantee by The Clinician Network.
Search rankings, featured listings, promotional placements, or other visibility features should not be interpreted as recommendations or verification.
9. No Professional Relationship
Use of the Platform does not create:
A supervisory relationship;
A therapeutic relationship;
An employment relationship;
An agency relationship;
A partnership; or
A joint venture between The Clinician Network and any user.
10. User Conduct
Users agree not to:
Provide false information;
Misrepresent credentials or licensure;
Harass other users;
Use the Platform fraudulently;
Attempt unauthorized access;
Upload malicious software;
Violate applicable laws or licensing regulations; or
Use another person's account.
The Clinician Network may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Payments
If supervisors charge fees for supervision, those fees are established solely by the supervisor.
The Clinician Network is not responsible for pricing disputes, refunds, cancellations, missed appointments, supervision contracts, or payment disagreements between users.
Any financial agreement exists solely between the applicable parties unless otherwise expressly stated.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Clinician Network shall not be liable for damages arising from:
Supervision services or professional advice;
Licensing decisions or disciplinary actions;
Ethical violations, malpractice, negligence, or misconduct;
Inaccurate profile or job posting information;
Failed supervision or employment relationships;
Employment decisions, discrimination, harassment, or workplace conditions;
Compensation, benefits, or employment terms;
Fraudulent or misleading job postings;
Communications between applicants and employers;
Applicant or employer misconduct;
Third-party websites or application systems;
Loss of income or employment;
Business interruption;
Employment-related disputes; or
Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages related to Platform use.
Users assume the risks associated with using the Platform, including posting, applying for, or participating in professional opportunities.
13. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available."
The Clinician Network makes no warranties regarding:
Uninterrupted service;
Accuracy or completeness of listings;
Reliability;
Fitness for a particular purpose; or
Availability of any supervisor, job, advertiser, product, service, or other offering.
14. Account Suspension or Removal
The Clinician Network may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account at its discretion for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, inaccurate information, misuse of the Platform, or conduct that may harm users or the integrity of the Platform.
15. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, branding, graphics, website design, software, and original materials on The Clinician Network are its property unless otherwise stated.
Users may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially exploit Platform content without written permission.
16. Privacy
Certain information submitted for profile creation is intended for public display.
The collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.
17. Changes to These Terms
The Clinician Network may modify these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
19. Document Storage and Data Responsibility
The Clinician Network may allow users to upload, store, organize, and access supervision-related documents. This feature is provided as a convenience and should not be relied upon as the sole repository for important records.
User Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for:
Maintaining accurate copies of uploaded documents;
Keeping independent backups;
Ensuring documents comply with applicable laws, licensing regulations, employer policies, and professional ethical standards; and
Determining whether documents are appropriate to upload or store.
The Clinician Network is not intended to be a user's sole or permanent document storage solution.
No Guarantee of Data Preservation
The Clinician Network uses reasonable efforts to maintain the Platform but does not guarantee that uploaded documents or stored data will always be available, preserved, secure, or free from deletion, corruption, technical malfunction, cybersecurity incidents, service interruptions, or other events beyond its control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Clinician Network shall not be liable for loss, corruption, alteration, destruction, or unavailability of uploaded documents, stored files, supervision records, electronic communications, or other user data.
Protected Health Information (PHI)
Users are strongly discouraged from uploading documents containing PHI or personally identifiable patient information unless they have independently determined that doing so complies with applicable federal and state laws, licensing requirements, employer policies, and professional ethical obligations.
Whenever possible, uploaded documents should not include patient names, dates of birth, addresses, Social Security numbers, medical record numbers, or other information that could reasonably identify an individual receiving treatment services.
Users are solely responsible for uploaded content and compliance with HIPAA, applicable state privacy laws, licensing requirements, and professional ethical obligations.
No Review or Verification of Uploaded Content
The Clinician Network does not routinely review, monitor, verify, or approve uploaded documents and assumes no responsibility for their legality, accuracy, completeness, security, or appropriateness.
20. Advertisements, Trainings, and Educational Content
The Clinician Network may allow third parties to advertise, promote, list, or host trainings, educational programs, continuing education opportunities, events, products, services, and other offerings through the Platform.
The Clinician Network does not create, provide, accredit, approve, evaluate, endorse, or guarantee the content, quality, accuracy, credentials, qualifications, educational value, or legality of any third-party training or offering. Appearance on the Platform does not constitute endorsement, recommendation, certification, accreditation, approval, or guarantee.
Users are solely responsible for determining whether any training satisfies applicable continuing education, licensure, certification, credentialing, renewal, or other professional requirements. Requirements vary by profession, license type, state, and governing authority. The Clinician Network does not guarantee that a training is CE-approved or will satisfy any requirement. Users should conduct their own research and verify requirements with the applicable licensing board, credentialing authority, or training provider before registering or relying on a training for credit.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, The Clinician Network is not a party to transactions between users and training providers or other third parties and is not responsible for payments, payment issues, pricing disputes, refunds, cancellations, charge disputes, scheduling, access, course content, certificates, CE documentation, dissatisfaction, or other disputes. Users must contact the applicable provider or organizer directly regarding refunds, payments, or other training-related issues.
Providers and advertisers are solely responsible for their content and offerings. The Clinician Network may reject, modify, suspend, or remove advertisements, trainings, or other offerings at its discretion.
