Hi there! I'm Elizabeth, an LMHC from Massachusetts. I'm located on the South Shore. I currently own my own private practice, where I mainly specialize in trauma, neurodivergence, and women's health. I am also trained in EMDR. My therapeutic approach is person centered, feminist, intersectional, sex positive, narrative, practiced with cultural humility, grounded in empathy, based in neurocounseling and biopsychosocial approach, supported by evidence based practices. In supervision with me, you'll find warm support, intersectional education, gentle guidance, and humor. Some facts about me: I graduated from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies. I then graduated from Bridgewater State University with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have had experience across the field of mental health, including; community mental health clinics, inpatient hospitals, intensive partial hospitalization clinics, prisons, and in home therapy. Outside of work I love spending time with my cat, dog, and partner, playing music, crafting, playing video games, and reading!
This group is available as an opportunity for in person connection with other local clinicians, as well as group supervision with an LMHC who specializes in trauma treatment. Topics covered would include EMDR, somatic therapy, mindfulness, intersectional therapy, IFS, and other overviews and discussions on treating trauma in various populations.
