Job Description
The position would be fully virtual and structured as a W-2 position, with an expectation of 15 billable clinical hours per week. Bolden Therapy & Wellness, LLC is a virtual mental health counseling practice committed to expanding grace, hope, and acceptance through compassionate, individualized, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care. The practice provides counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout Virginia through secure telehealth services. Our clinical approach emphasizes person-centered and trauma-informed care and may incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy interventions, sandtray, expressive arts, mindfulness, and other developmentally appropriate approaches. Position Summary The Resident in Counseling provides outpatient mental health counseling through telehealth while completing supervised clinical experience toward independent LPC licensure in Virginia. The Resident provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, psychotherapy, caregiver consultation, care coordination, and related clinical services within the Resident's education, training, demonstrated competence, and scope of practice. This position requires the ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining appropriately connected to clinical supervision and practice operations. Residents are expected to demonstrate increasing clinical independence, professional accountability, and sound clinical judgment throughout residency.
Benefits
Clinical compensation: $45 per completed clinical hour. Administrative/documentation compensation: $20 per hour. Approximately 15 minutes of administrative time would be allotted per completed clinical hour, with the weekly administrative allowance rounded up to the next whole hour. Additional administrative time: Additional approved time may be available for responsibilities requiring more extensive documentation, such as intakes, initial treatment plans, treatment-plan reviews, discharge documentation, or clinically necessary care coordination. Clinical supervision: Required supervision would be provided through the Boost 200 Program when eligible and available. If you do not qualify for the program or supervision is otherwise not covered, Bolden Therapy & Wellness would cover the cost of required clinical supervision. Continuing education: Up to $350 annually, with up to $200 available per quarter, toward approved continuing education and professional development. Professional liability insurance: Reimbursement of up to $200 annually toward individual professional liability coverage.
